Nest

   Posted by: John    in Pictures

One of my neighbors has a bird nest in the tree in his front yard.  Mamma bird has 4 eggs in it. She was not too happy about us taking pictures.

Old Barn

   Posted by: John    in Pictures

Up the road there is an old barn. This one looks like it is ready to blow down the next time we have a windstorm.

Rickety

On the same property there is another old smaller building that is in marginally better shape. Maybe take two windstorms.

Almost as rickety

Air Superiority…Since 1974

   Posted by: John    in Aircraft

I must be slacking. I did not know that the F-16 Fighting Falcon was still in production.  But it is!  This aircraft, designed and originally built by General Dynamics first flew in 1974 and since then 4,500 have been built, with production still going.  That’s nearly 40 years!

It just proves the point that well designed and well built things will serve their purpose well, now and for a long time.

Where I was at today

   Posted by: John    in Pictures

New client, between Boise and Mountain Home.  I got there this morning and nobody was there yet.  So, while waiting, I took a couple of pictures.  These are from 3 different directions. Click to make them bigger.

Yeah, right out in the middle of nearly nowhere.  Took these with the phone camera, so they are what they are.

I laughed at this

Posted by: John    in Fun Stuff

My wife makes cards.  Lots of them.  Nearly all are works of art.  Every now and again she comes up with one that is just a riot.  Here’s one that I am not sure will work well for a baby shower, but I found incredibly funny.
